Lake Region Healthcare is a not-for-profit healthcare system with a 108-bed hospital, multi-specialty clinic, cancer center, assisted living community and athletic training & group fitnessfacility on our main campus in Fergus Falls. Expanded clinic hours are offered at our west-side Walk-In Clinic and outreach clinic services are provided in Ashby, Battle Lake and Elbow Lake. Improving the health of people who live, work and vacation in in this beautiful lakes area is our aim and our privilege.

Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations

Lake Region Healthcare has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval. The Joint Commissions Gold Seal of Approval earned by Lake Region Healthcare is a clear sign that we have demonstrated compliance to the most stringent standards of performance.

CARF Accreditation for Center for Rehabilitation

When the services or provider you choose is Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accredited, you're assured the highest quality services possible. Lake Region Healthcare was again awarded a 3-year accreditation for the Center for Rehabilitation.

Cardiac Rehabilitation National Certification

Lake Region Healthcare has been awarded the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) program certification for its cardiac rehabilitation program. The AACVPR certification recognizes programs rigorously reviewed by the national board who meet the AACVPR requirements for standards of care.

CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program

Lake Region Healthcare Laboratory successfully completed an inspection process and has been awarded CAP accreditation. This puts LRH part of an exclusive group of laboratories worldwide that have met the highest standards of excellence. The programs goal is to improve patient safety by advancing the quality of pathology and laboratory services through education, standard setting, and ensuring laboratories meet or exceed regulatory requirements.

Thomson Top 100 Hospitals

Lake Region Healthcare was named one of the Country's top 100 hospitals in performance improvement 2006. The designation is based on the study of publicly available data from 2001-2006. In addition to patient outcomes, the studys authors look at hospital statistics for patient safety, hospital efficiency, financial stability and growth.

A qualified anesthesia provider involved in the administration of anesthesia and related services to all age groups, (including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics,) as delineated by the clinical and non-clinical responsibilities described herein. This position reports directly to the Anesthesiology Director, Anesthesiologist, and Sr. VP Professional Services. The Staff Anesthetist has contact with hospital employees, prospective employees, volunteers, community personnel, manufacturer representatives, pharmaceutical representatives, administration, students, trainees, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The incumbent has access to sensitive, confidential information and must be able to maintain those confidences.
